Awesome movie. J Law killed it and Amy Adams was hot as hell. In the tradition of Casino/Goodfellas, it was funnier than any comedy released this year.

Thought this movie was fucking fantastic.

Really outstanding performances by all involved, and it's pretty goddamned funny too. It does feel like David O. Russell is blatantly biting Scorsese, but the shit is so good you don't care. The costumes are incredibly garish, but it just adds to the overall charm. Bale and Adams had a great chemistry, and as said above, Lawrence brought her A game. Louis CK definitely held his own opposite Bradley Cooper, and was perfectly cast.

This is well worth seeing in the theater in my opinion, it's one of the best films I've seen this year. Really entertaining. It's going to clean up at the Oscars.
