Everyone is hating on this episode, but I loved it. I am a Jon Snow fan though.

next week will be 10 storylines all cramped into one hour plus the final scene will probably have dragons. yay!

episode was dope, im a huge fan of sam and agree that he is progressing. thought his moment with his babe was great and agree that ygritte and jon snows last mormonts together were cliched but still pulled at my heartstrings. the battle scenes were dope and if u didnt like it was prolly due to ur blackwater-level expectations. the speeches, the giants, the holding of the gate, the scythe, jon snow becoming default commander and literally throwing down the hammer, all cool. the ending and jon's plan was the weakest part of the ep but still overall was pleased. next week season ender looks like it will be great

as corny as Yigritte's final hesitation/death was, it was totally redeemed by the kid killing her (even if you saw this coming) and the nod. that was probably literally the only arrow he shot and literally the only thing he did through the whole battle other than shit himself.

you guys are wildin if you think the battle wasn't staged well, all the action scenes were tremendous. the long shot tracking the battle from one side of the courtyard to the other was incredible. but they didn't do too good of a job of actually keeping a narrative through them, just showed some awesome fighting and killing, so it really was hard to keep track of who's actually winning.

thanks. it just seems weird that ned stark, most honorable man on the planet, had an affair with a lady that nobody has ever seen AND took the baby home. This also just happened to happen right after Oberyn's sister got killed.

that one wide shot of the battle was very cool. the whole thing was well staged, the thing is at the end it's less satisfying because the battle hasn't been won either way. at blackwater stannis got decisively murked.



so for next ep/season we know there are armies approaching the wall from both sides. zombos could overrun the wildlings, boltons could roll up from the south. i'm counting the ironborn out of the equation for now. looking back it seems as if no one took the threat to the wall seriously except stannis. boltons prob won't reach the wall by next ep, but the war of northern aggression is gonna become their problem very soon.

I thought he was the one person she couldn't kill because no matter what he said, he'd actually been decent to her, whereas no matter what good Tywin had to say to Tyrion, his actions showed otherwise and Tyrion had had enough.

Yeah that mightve been a fuckup, Sansa had admitted who she was to the high ups there who liked her dad and even if Arya dgaf anymore she wouldve been summoned imo.

Itd be very non GOT but I wish they couldve kept the Ayra & Hound teacher/begrudging student going but Im a sucker for corny shit like that.
