Your 15 Favorite Movies of All-Time

Listing 10 is too difficult. List your 15 favorite flicks in order, don't be a pussy and take the easy way out.

Not sure how I could rank my favorite films from my childhood+teen-years against all of the shit (new and old) I've seen in the last 10 years or so. So I'll make a favorite list with only films from the former group, because it's a lot easier for me.

Mostly US 80's films:

1) Robocop
2) The Fly
3) They Live
4) Alien
5) Predator
6) The Killer
7) Texas Chainsaw Massacre
8) The Thing
9) Rambo
10) Scarface
11) Terminator 2
12) Audition
13) Death Wish
14) Evil Dead
15) Deliverance

I think someone reflex answered with Robocop a few weeks back on Come Dine With Me to a similar question.

one single definitive favorite of all time would be The Good The Bad And The Ugly

the other 14 in no order:

Godfather 1+2 (these are two parts of one continuous story, suck it if you don't agree)
Iron Monkey
Duel To The Death
Streetfighter (the Sonny Chiba one)
Maltese Falcon
Casablanca
Point Blank
The Third Man
Bladerunner
Big Lebowsky
Aguirre
Le Samourai
Hardboiled
????? leaving one blank for movies that are inevitable staples but don't come to mind specifically, so integral they're beyond a list, they're just a part of my pop culture consciousness now. could be any of the first 3 indiana jones movies, could be any of the first 3 star wars movies, could be my blue heaven, could be robocop could be happy gilmore or billy madison or tommy boy, etc etc etc

If the next list doesn't contain Scarface then this site is no longer Hip-Hop.

Vertigo
Pans Labyrinth
Casablanca
Apocalypse Now
The Shining
Seven Samurai
Casablanca
The Wild Bunch
The Usual Suspects

I hate doing lists like these cause I always feel bad leaving out shit. Not being able to fit in any Cronenberg, Gilliam, Ford, Huston, Herzog, Coens, Mann, Fuller etc is just shitty.
Also fuck trying to mix in comedies.

seriously. i looked at mine when i first wrote it and realized i'm a dour motherfucker who watches nothing but depression and violence. lebowsky is the only saving grace but even that's a noir riff and kinda dark too.

Godfather 2
Apocalypse Now
Paths of Glory
Boogie Nights
Fargo
Menace II Society
Pulp Fiction
