I have a theory of what this shot is:

Image

Finn gets beat by Kylo Ren, and motherfucking Luke Skywalker shows up to put and end to this shit.

I have a different theory, and if it really is what I think it might be, then J.J. is a dead man.

Does it have to do with a Random Axe track featuring Sean Price?

The person in front of her is clearly wearing a brown leather jacket. Also the dialogue over this image in the international trailer made me come up with my theory. "Hope is not lost today, but it is found." Luke was always known as the new hope.

Another spoiler, somebody finally leaked Snoke's character design. Looks really fucking dope, the description says they were inspired by Hammer monsters, to me he kinda looks Del Toro'ish actually.
Image
still no idea if he's really 30ft tall, I kinda hope saw even though that's rediculous

i'm always curious to read bad reviews because they're often far more honest and telling than the raves, but two random tweets from a rapper isn't quite that

the reactions sited here are all overwhelmingly positive

Agreed, I don't really care what El-P thinks, but I think it just dawned me that it's entirely possible i've been too caught up in the hype, and this has potential to suck.. Like for all the love JJ Abrahms gets, he's made just 2 'okay' movies. Either way, tickets copped for Thursday night. Actually surprised at how many tix are still available.

He's not a great director but he's qualified specifically for stuff like this I think. Star Trek showed what he can do with scifi and a flagging franchise, Avengers showed what he can do with big set pieces, Super 8 pulled that good 80s blockbuster tone balance of legit drama and Disneyish shmaltz ... that's pretty much all you need here.
