also:

the running man

forgetting sarah marshall (although i finally started it but fell asleep after like 45 min)

casablanca

i think that's pretty much the main one's that would even remotely surprise anyone.

A lot of tupac films
A lot of John Singleton films

Ive seen bits of some but

I actually just started Lost recently. All the silly shit that pissed me off and made me quit originally just gets shrugs now now, its pretty solid often great mystery nonsense. lol they just threw in time travel though and the exposition/meta commentary shit to compensate is hilariously brazen I bet they think theyre being funny on purpose but we see you s/o Leslie Arzt. hall of fame bad accents/YOU SEE WE ENGLAND CHECK OUT MY RED BUS CHECK OUT MY RED PHONE etc though

x2

I think Community is the one that surprises people the most. Everybody just assumes I'm all about it. Don't have anything against it, just never really had any interest in it.

for movies, Titanic as far long term, 12 Years A Slave in short term.

watched Rocky like three weeks ago, always figured that was something i had seen as a yung'un and caught enough bits of here and there that could reasonably say i've seen it, but most of that was newnew to me. ronn bangton often says 'and i'm going to have to say a bad word here' prior to saying whore and did not know that was from rocky prior towatching. i'm sure theres tons of shit like that, 85% of jedi would likely be new to me, prob empire too, but did watch the new hope ~ the time the i guess third one came out so know that one enough, psycho, the birds, jaws, etc as well. going to watch the rest of them rockys now btw, s/o lez artz
12 yrs, avatar, big comic jawns, strr treks, etc etc if those would be worth mentioning

Film:
About 80% of Sight & Sound's Top 100 films of all time list.
If there's no fighting, shooting, killing, or fucking in it, I'm usually avoiding it like the plague.

TV:
Take your pick of US TV shows that are topics from the first three pages of CYE and I've seen maybe none of them.

Add all those Scandinavian dramas that are all the rage too.

A shit load of UK crap like Downton Abbey and Sherlock, that seems to be popular both here and in the US too. Could not give a monkey's about them, no matter how much people praise them.

I just can't watch episodic content week after week and would rather put on a DVD, a Blu-Ray or hope there is something decent on Film4.

I've seen most everything on tv at least once but most things just don't hold my attention.

Same with movies. I've probably seen all the major American joints.

I know I know. To be honest, mafia movies never grabbed me (even though I've seen most of the other famous ones at this point) so I just kinda let this one slip by me. I plan on seeing it...just haven't gotten around to it.

I was 15 when Jurassic Park came out. I don't give a fuck about dinosaurs.

I don't know. I always found something else to watch. They are on my list to watch though. Now that I have HBO, I am going to start watching The Wire.
As far as Mad Max goes, I can't handle listening to the Australian accent for more than 20 seconds. It is like fingernails on a chalk board.
