I've watched every episode, but I'm still undecided if I really like it or not. I wanted it to be about the mystery of why so many people had suddenly disappeared, but it seems to be more about dealing with the after effects.

Just caught up with this show. Pretty much agree with everything block said here, I just really like the show. Its really well made. Good characters.
The entire cast can act their asses off and its directed well. Its a real testament to the talent of the people making it that they can make a cult as retarded as the Guilty Remnant and it not bring the entire show down. (speaking of that, I fucking hate DeNiro's girlfriend from HEAT. Bitch you didn't even lose anyone from the not-rapture and your family and kids need you. Fuck your grief).

Also, didn't the daughter's friend get naked in Boardwalk? Pretty sure she was the hooker that got her face cut up.

Now I'm assuming dude with no name gotta be linked up with the GR, or at least have an understanding of how they work. I'm guessing the "I tried to help you" on his way out the cabin was for Patti.

I'm glad it wasn't the hot friend who showed up at the GR house, because I'm totally cool with Garvey's daughter shutting the fuck up for a few episodes.

When all them shirts were hanging on the trees.... they also showed what looked like burned shoes in a circle so a possible burned body. Im just wondering, the way he was ripping each shirt down and yelling as if each one mattered, did each one stand for a dead body he was sleepily guilty of? OR was that one body or none? gotta little confused here, my apologies.

I saw it as those were all the shirts missing from his closet that he yelled at the laundry dude about a while back. He's been going to that cabin for a while, without remembering any of it. Dude is nuts, I hope he at least did get to fuck the daughter's friend, although I don't think it happened.

thought the flashback episode was good overall but had some really "on the nose" stuff. the last couple minutes of the episode really redeemed some of the cornier stuff.

The first half of the season was boring as hell except for the Reverand's episode. The second half of the season was much, much better in terms of the stories finally flowing together imo.
