didn't realize that Jon Favreau had produced and directed so many of the marvel movies. it makes total sense that he didn't do civil war because the feel is so different.

but I was just checking out his filmography wiki because I have been youtubing that show dinner for five and I wanted to check something out and I saw that
the infinity war is already scheduled for two movies in 2018 & 2019
is that spoiler worthy? I mean it is to me so I'll keep it like that

Teasers for Luke Cage, Defenders and Iron Fist. The Luke Cage one is fantastic

Not sold on Loras as Iron Fist yet but whatever, we'll see how he looks in action.

The Defenders one is pretty pointless, no actual footage.

So this is neither a part of MCU or the Marvel TV thing nor apparently the Xmen movie continuity either.. might be the breaking point where Marvel media continuity becomes just as incomprehensible and convoluted as their on-page stuff

But it looks like a fun show, the trailer is really good

Totally get that. He definitely can be. I'm just hoping they find a way to make the character live up to its potential.

Supporting cast looks strong as hell. That's encouraging.

it's just that dude is basically unstoppable, hopefully they can create a great story for this season. the antagonist looks he could be cool, the shot of him in front of the bigge poster with the crown on looked dope.

at this point I trust netflix to come thru.

I think Marvel could have a 'chance' to hit their peak here in the near future as far as tv and movie entities. Luke Cage looks incredible and Dr Strange, Guardians 2, and Thor Ragnarok all look great and are generating the right kind of buzz. The Captain America and Avengers movies have largely underwhelmed IMO (especially in hindsight), but the shows have all been winners and the next slate of flicks looks really solid.

:naswtf:

Winter Solider and Civil War are probably two of the best three movies Marvel has put out so far, along with GOTG.

I get that everyone loves those last two Cap movies, but they're pretty overrated IMO. I just watched Civil War for the first time over the weekend, I think Winter Soldier is the best of the three but they all disappointed me. I liked the Avengers movies when I saw them, but I don't really have a desire to ever revisit them either (admittedly the first Avengers is easily my favorite of the Cap and Avengers movies)

Luke Cage is really good so far (3 episodes in), but dude sounds way too much like John Cena when he goes in on some righteous speech shit.

So far so good. It's like Ghost Dog meets Omar Little.
