What'd you expect? DC is pretty fucked up, but they aren't retarded enough to let two movies set in Gotham have no crossover. What's the point of bankrolling two stacked casts if you're not gonna go the Marvel route and have them cameo in everything?

I don't know what to make of this or the Batman Vs Superman movie, but this one seems more intriguing to me because it will likely be either really bad or really good, where the other one will probably take less chances and fall somewhere in the middle.

the difference between marvel and DC is dc is willing to embrace the dark side and really examine the pain etc of its characters in 3d as opposed to marvels 2d the world is almost perfect shtick. as long as dc continues to humanize their shit in 3d they'll be fine and the movies will have something cool about them even if they look like rich teenagers going over board etc
