I agree that this is the best show right now.

So many great things about Banshee, like the awesome characters. There's a graphic novel feel to them. The guy who plays the Philly crime boss they introduced last ep is a Shakespearean actor btw.

Shorter episode run doesn't necessarily mean it's the final season. One of the directors of this series was recently on the Banshee Aftershow and said that many cable shows have adopted the 8-episode season. It's basically cost cutting, not a death trap.

The creators of the show once said that they had planned for 5 seasons in total. So maybe the last two seasons will each have 8 episodes like in Breaking Bad.

Thanks for bumping this. Read a report that the actor who plays hood wants out of the show and too much money. Really don't need many more seasons but 8 episodes only seems too short.

went to sugars bar/hoods spot about a month back while in charlotte (where they filmed 1-3). have nothing much to really say about it, but it was cool as noone was there since the general store it really is closes at 4 in the afternoon, so walked all around the premises, and hey! looks like it does on tv!

Who's in on season 4? Just finished ep 1, more the same that makes this show awesome. But can see why they're ending it.
