Anybody fucking with this? It was masterminded by the 'Jiro Dreams Of Sushi' dude, basically follows the same format as the movie - each ep focuses on specific chef.
Watched the first 3, all very dope. Kinda reminded me of Planet Earth, it evokes the same kind of 'this isn't just a documentary it's a documentary FILM' gravity but it also earns the pretentiousness because it is that good. My only real gripe is I wish they would show more about the food specifically. All the personal stuff about each chef is great, but the best moments are when they show the direct relationship between the food and the personality and I could've used more of those.

Got a email that it was added to netflix, good to hear it's pretty good.
Mind of A Chef is also a good watch.

turns out one of the restaurants, n/naka, is a block away from my crib and i had no idea because it's just a nondescript concrete building next to a 7-11.

I really enjoyed this. All 6 eps were really great and I hope there's a second season in the future. I'm a sucker for food/chef docu shit though.
