Did anyone else get disappointed when Sense 8 was cancelled? I really liked that show but I can see why people didn't like it.

Liking Ozark so far as well, despite some plot holes.
The hick girl is kind of annoying, and looks like the dude from the viral video a few years ago.

Just finished American Vandal, pretty fucking amazing. I'd give it a rating of 27 out of 27 dicks.
It's great because of how committed they are to the actual premise they are spoofing, they rarely go for cheap jokes and instead treat the mystery as important as any other true crime doc. Although its still laugh out loud funny on a regular basis. Its also up there with Freaks and Geeks and Friday Night Lights as one of the best portrayals of high school.

:leon:

"Dylan doesn't like shitting at my house because my mom has one of those padded toilet seats. He says its like pressing your butt against someone else's butt and pooping into their butt"

hardest laugh of the show for me.

holy shit I've never seen a full trailer for this or anything, just the posters and the brief tag that it's a doc about high school vandalism, I had no idea it was a satire. i gotta see this

Word, its only eight 1/2 hour episodes too, so its easily bingeable in a single setting.

Watched Little Evil last night and enjoyed it but was definitely let down overall, had higher expectations from the director of Tucker & Dale Vs Evil. Adam Scott and the lesbian "stepdad" friend are great in it but it could have been a lot funnier if they went even darker with the premise.

Started American Vandal and yea I'm with you guys, first two episodes were incredible. The handjob investigation was my favorite thing so far I think. Hopefully it doesn't fall off at the end, my only concern while watching the first two is how they'd be able to sustain this level of goodness for 6 more.

finished bloodlines and it ended flat, really loved the entire show leading up to that ending though.

black mirror is insane and I love it. that san sunipero episode got me thinking depressing thoughts about being both alive and dead holy shit

Yup, American Vandal was great. Far surpassed my modest expectations based on the few things I read about it prior.

Started AmVan and couldn't stop, great original stuff. Kid who played Dylan especially was incredible.

Damn Vandal got dark and real as hell at the end. 'How will they keep the joke going' feels like an entirely wrong question in the context of where this goes in the end. You guys were right to put this on the same tier as the best HS dramedies.

Big Mouth is pretty good, funny and filthy to an occasionally uncomfortable degree. At it's best it hits that great 'coming of age' narrative sweet spot where the grossout gags are a lens for showing puberty as horribly awkward and graphically fucked up

Big fan of the Lovecrafty things. If it's another season that's fun to watch but shows a lot of seams that would be totally fine.

Back to say this first episode was a real joy and made me a believer in this actually being a solid follow up, feels like they never left... Nice to see something fresh coming out making it feel like Halloween for the first time this year for me... Great ending scene... On to the next one...
