Vinyl TRAILER (HBO, Scorsese, rock, coke, 70s)
feels like they're maybe trying too hard, maybe it's just the trailer tho...
the cast is pretty strong:

best possible outcome would probably be if they pick up where Almost Famous left off and manage to nail that same kind of balance of giddily putting the era on the pedestal while knocking it down at the same time

RIP Vinyl.
100M budget and barely 1M viewers.

damn.....it didn't get a second season? WOW. Even "Togetherness" got 3 seasons.

I'm sure the budget for Togetherness was like 3M.

Togetherness at least had some critical love behind it. I think standards for what constitutes a success in terms of viewers for a show like that are much lower too
Vinyl was savaged critically and apparently a ratings black hole, while they seemed to expect it be their next mega-hit
