Dope show fam, innit? More fun than The Wire, which it's commonly compared to.

Excellent casting, acting, plot and subplots, etc. Really a shame there will never be a Season 3.

It is, bruv. I saw it on Netflix but my Netflix is different to yours. Try putlocker.

this shit has been around for a few years and was a lowkey cult hit (in the US no idea how popular it is in the UK) but didn't catch on wider until Drake started jocking it, and nowapparently he's trying to get a s3 going.

Yeh Drake learnt the streets from Top Boy. Life in Canada wasn't enough. It's no coincidence he quickly shed his leaned-out loverboy image in favour of a more #alphathug approach around the time of that first co-sign.

dude it's been really funny watching hip NY yutes start calling each other Bruv because of this, both ironically and completely honestly

especially since NY has its very own homegrown Wire-like cult hit with Money & Violence

 On Episode 2. Story and characters are compelling. Camerawork shoddy, even for a hood flick.

Oh word glad you're giving it a shot. It gets better all around as they go on, they clearly learn from experience. It obviously never becomes 'polished' in any tangible way but they do progress somewhat.

this is on netflix instant. the little bug-eyed kid made no sense to me. beside that gripe, the show was pretty fun.
