Movies you're embarrased you still haven't seen
I've been using that icheckmovies site to track what I've seen and made some startling realizations as to what i haven't peeped...
Apocalypse Now
Schindler List
Silence of the Lambs
Casablanca
Saving Private Ryan
North by Northwest
Metropolis
On the Waterfront
The Deer Hunter
Akira
I have however seen all 5 Air Bud movies.

Re: Movies you're embarrased you still haven't seen
When Bill Hicks received a terminal cancer diagnosis, his first order of business was to reread the LOTR book (which I myself have read a number of times). So you guys are indirectly dissing Bill Hicks.
It appears from a distance that the Harry Potter shit is strictly for the pre-pubescent variety, but the LOTR trilogy is classic. Don't listen to these knuckleheads, Kel. LOTR has a great plot, tremendous acting, epic battle scenes, etc. You will be thoroughly entertained.

The books are boring as shit too, and there's nothing wrong with skipping those either. If you're gonna subject yourself to high fantasy jerkoffery, you might as well sit through nine hours of very good looking nonsense than spending god knows how time reading a dude meticulously describe tables and apples and shit for pages at a time

I'm more of a Star Wars guy myself (albeit only of the late 70s/early 80s product). I'd watch one part at a time if I were you. IMO, the best sequence in the trilogy is the first 1/3 of part 1. The best overall flick is part 2. The final 20-30 minutes of part 3 are gay as fuck - be prepared. You'll know when to turn it off on repeat viewings.capable_keL wrote:i picked up the trilogy on blu ray. should I watch it all at once; or can i farm sections out during the week?Roy Johnson wrote:When Bill Hicks received a terminal cancer diagnosis, his first order of business was to reread the LOTR book (which I myself have read a number of times).
