Def one of those cases where I wasn't sure if the dude was still alive to begin with, but sad to see him go nonetheless. He was the first artsy director I even got into.
tho 93 is a good innings in anybody's book.Branded To Kill > anything by Ozu.
(And I say that as someone who luvs Tokyo Story and Early Spring.)
