Ep3 was dope. Great action. Ppl complained about the lighting but it looked good to me. Hightlights were arya's metal gear sneaking and (spoiler) leap+hand switch fakeout. Didn't see that coming, even with the signs. Cause i didn't expect the whole shit to be over this ep. I guess the high fantasy is over and we go back to political intrigue. Let's see how the writers handle this.
1. Nas
2. Drake

that's pretty much it fam.

lol this show is fucking dumb now. Obviously gonna see it through but , man, so dumb.
That said, the Club winterfell scene was surprisingly enjoyable.

After the last 2 eps I've resigned to being disappointed. Ep 3 was great spectacle but the way they just neatly solved the show's biggest threat worried me, and the last one was just mediocre at best and confirmed that they don't really have a good handle on how to end this. I'm sure whatever happens will be mostly watchable, if there's a battle at Kings Landing that will probably be fun and maybe they'll even squeeze in a few surprises, but it won't be anywhere near as good as how this all started.

Typical woman. She won the minute she took out the fleet and breached the walls. But no, she had to go ham on everyone and risk everything.

not too mad at how this shaped up overall, she's always been potentially volatile and there was a lot of tension about how things would go in Westeros and how she would be received, but the execution was again rushed and unsatisfying

at least 'well actually, we killed the Night King early because SURPRISE, Dany turned out to be the main villain' is better than 'well actually we killed the Night King early because Cercei is the main villain'

Her and Cercei are no different. Both wanted the throne for the wrong reasons and willing to have done whatever it takes. Completely ignoring law/tradition. The writers have clearly been pushing Dany to being the heel so her death at the hands of a Stark next week will be championed. Overall, the ep was fine but not too satisfying to see the Lanister lovers die like that.

I thought episode 5 was really good, and was easily the best episode of season 8 so far. It's the first time this season that when an episode ended I felt blown away by what I just saw (this used to happened regularly with GOT). Dany's heel turn did feel a bit rushed, but the outcome of it in terms of the complete devastation of King's Landing was satisfying to me.

My observations so far are that episodes 1 & 2 were a complete waste of time, as was the case with last season the writing just doesn't feel as "tight" as when it was based on the books, and making the last season a shortened season was a terrible mistake.

I liked episode 5. They've been hinting at Dany's mad queen turn for a long time...it shouldn't have been surprising to anyone. My only gripe was the Cearsi death. Wtf was that!? Oh and Jamie and Euron just happening to bump into each other was pretty funny. Greyworm giving Jon the "bitch i'm going to fuck you up" look was great.

This season was an unmitigated disaster. I'm happy it's over. Treating this bullshit as appointment TV to avoid spoilers the next day was a fuckin chore.

Does this trump Sorpanos as worst HBO series finale or nah?

I felt more annoyed after sopranos finale.. dead poet put it perfectly for GoT, underwhelming is the first that came to mind after watching

Dexter is easily the worst ending ever...also a shitty show but still.

sopranos ending has really grown on me over the years, it holds up really well. would consider it one of the best series endings at this point.

Good call on the dexter finale. Worst writing in tv history

The memes coming from this are pretty hilarious. So stupid Jon Snow being a targaryen doesn’t mean shit though

I think Bran is officially worse than Carl ever was
