Best TV Actors/Characters
Despite some shitty seasons, I have never given up on Homeland. Now I'm too invested to just bail, but I will say one of the reasons I watch is because of what Mandy Patinkin does on screen. His character Saul is up there for me with Walter White. He is more of a supporting role, but he steals every scene and has carried this series.

I love Darius for the weird hilarity but I've been enjoying Paperboi more, they've built him up as a pretty nuanced character and I think the actor playing him is super talented.Cryptic One wrote:

Re: Best TV Actors/Characters
based on my faves from last year:
The casino owning brothers from Twin Peaks (to be fair I loved pretty much every character in the reboot)
Dylan's friends from American Vandal
Tony Shaloub and Kevin Pollack as the dads on Mrs Maisel (another show where I thought the whole cast was really great but these two stood out the most)
Jason on the good place
The CEO and Bobby Canavalle's fixer on Mr Robot
Ann Dowd on The Handmaid's tale
Frank Langela on the Americans
Jon Beredthal as The Punisher, the show was uneven as hell but worth watching for him alone.

Re: Best TV Actors/Characters
Far as recent ones - Justin Theroux + especially Maggie Coon in Leftovers.
Theroux was unexpectedly hilarious, he should stick to comedy rly. Learned recently he was a writer on Tropic Thunder.
That show going from self srs prestige mystery shite that had Where Is My Mind in every fucking ep to this self aware bonkers Lost fan letter was some turn man.
only started on it but yr one from The End Of The Fucking World is good.
Just started on Web Therapy n Lisa Kudrow also surprisingly funny. putting the bloopers @ the end of each eps a woeful idea though
