Time travel movies
Overlords of CYE
Me and some buddies gonna watch a ton of time travel movies this year, mainly for fun but also to look for plot holes, lazy writing, paradoxes etc.
We've kicked off last week with Safety Not Guaranteed (piece of shit) and Predestination (entertaining watch but full of holes) last week.
I've already compiled a list that I haven't seen or have seen but are up for a re-watch:
Haven't seen:
Sound of my voice (2012)
Je t'aime je t'aime (1968)
The Amazing Mr. Blunden (1972)
Time After Time (1979)
Source Code (2011)
Interstellar (2014)
Re-watch-worthy:
12 Monkeys
Primer
Terminator (1+2)
Edge of Tomorrow
Groundhog Day
Timecrimes
Looper (not impressed the first time, but that could change)
Edit: Back to the future (don't why I missed that one, thanks for the reminder)
I'm sure I've missed tons. Any recommendations that play around with the subject in an interesting way?

These all feature some sort of time travel:
The Time Machine (60s one)
Planet Of The Apes (preferably the o.g)
The Terminator
Army Of Darkness
Midnight In Paris

Re: Time travel movies
if you want something lighter to rinse out all the paradox pondering try Godzilla Vs King Ghidorah (1991), it's built around time travel and is absolutely bonkers

Re: Time travel movies
Need up in this thread to rep for The Time Traveller's Wife.
Re: Time travel movies
There's also the terrible Kris Kristofferson/Cheryl Ladd movie Millennium
Re: Time travel movies
Peter Cushing played a better Dr. Who than most of the official ones.

Deja Vu
X-Men: Days of Future Past
The Fountain
The Final Countdown
Men In Black 3
Freejack
The only thing more overrated than Looper is Rian Johnson's career as a director.

Agree that looper is pooper. The ridiculously terrible & inconsistent prosthetics constantly took me out of the derivative plot with mediocre final twist.
