Andvil wrote: Now I'm using DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD to the hard drive and Auto Gordian Knot to decode and decompress it, which works MUCH better.
And I found out how to rip subs from the VOB files which I wasnt able to do earlier.
Andvil, do you know where I can download Auto Gordian Knot? I have DVD decrypter.

I want to upload Cashern, I know a lot of people on the board still haven't seen it yet...

I have the DVD, I just don't know how to go about getting the subtitles, any help would be greatly appreciated

there's an asian subtitle site called www.kloofy.net
you have to register before you search their subtitles, but it's free, so no big deal

their search thing is very very awful
what you wanna do, after you register, is click on ASIAN subs on the left hand side of the page.....

there's a section right there on that page with a search bar that says
"ASIAN SUBS database"
"search in more than 4000 subtitles!"

just leave the bar blank and hit search, cause apparently searching for "Casshern" does nothing.

it'll bring up all their subtitles in alphabetical order, and there's multiple listings for Casshern, depending on whether the version you have is One CD (one file), 2 CDs or 3 CDs.......and dont forget to make sure the subtitles all line up.
