It's the one in Kindergarten Cop where he's all like, "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!!!"

That shit really cracks me up.

I think that was Al Pacino.

Where he walks into the bar with the two jewish-boho broads as "jumpin' jack flash" is playing in Meanstreets.

The scene in Goodfellas, where he's standing by the the bar smoking a cigarette and contemplating murdering Maurie while Sunshine Of Your Love is playing.

Without doubt the first Russian Roulette scene in the Deer Hunter.

Some good ones in Mean Streets too.

Where he's in the shower and pulls back the curtain to reveal Dustin Hoffman taking a dump in Meet The Fockers.

Really tough to choose and all mentioned are worthy. I have to go with the diner scene in "Heat" though. Maybe not the dopest but I always love that scene in "Goodfellas" when he strangles Morrie round the neck with the telephone cord and Morrie's wig falls off. Just a funny scene.

That would have been my second choice and its especially funny as that scene is straight after the Maurie's Wigs ad.

I like the scene in Ronin when he punks out the dude when they are talking about the ambush.

Good thread.

In terms of awesomeness, I'd agree with Lexus. One of the best uses of slow motion and pop music in film history. Gives me chills when I watch it.

And that last scene in Godfather 2 is up there.

No one mentioned King of Comedy yet? My favorite out of that one is the sit down interview. "MAAAAAA"

Cape Fear has some excellent De Niro moments. The "biting" scene is great. And the scene with a young Juliette Lewis in the theater is great in a fucking sick and twisted way.

But my favorite De Niro scene has got to be from Raging Bull. The fight scenes. Speficically the one where he is beaten to a bloody mess then walks up to the other boxer and says "Hey. Hey. You didn't knock me down."

YES!!!

"I ambushed you with a cup of coffee!" LOLOLOL

He was waaaaay too smooth in that movie. Very underestimated movie.

When dude asked him if he killed anyone and he goes "I hurt somebody's feelings once."

Hell Yes, why is that? Movie is dope. I think it was the first DVD i ever bought.

There are 2 car chases in that film that piss over anything done before or since. If your thinking 'What about the French Connection'. Forget it, Ronin has THE greatest cinematic car chase!

King of Comedy: When he shows up at Jerry Langford's house; the most awkward moment in any film I've seen. And-another brilliant awkward moment-when he waits for 3 hours in Jerry's office for an appointment that doesn't exist.

Meet the Parents: "You smoking dope Focker?" ....Underrated performance that doesn't get enough love.

Raging Bull: Where he asks Joey to punch him, then complains about his steak.
