Weezer's new single.

Post by FreshShabazz »

"BEVERLY HILLS! THAT'S WHERE I WANT TO BE!"

I've had this stuck in my head all week. It's like anytime my brain used to just clear itself and move on to a new topic is now filled with this chorus.

anybody check for Weezer? I kinda get the feeling they're no longer hip with the indy art crowd... OR WERE THEY EVER?

Pinkerton is a great CD. Easily their best. I thought I burned you a copy...

The Blue Album is pretty really good too. You wanna talk about catchy, stuck-in-your-head-all-day choruses. "Say it ain't soooo-whoa-whoa"

And that album has the only epic Weezer song: Only In Dreams. Anybody ever see the Cowboy Bebop music video for that song? Totally awesome.

Alas, Pinkerton got terrible press and I'm pretty sure the sales weren't great either. That's when Rivers lost it. He went into depression hardcore and painted his apartment all black and became EMO SUPREME.

After seeing that music video with all the baby animals I will never buy a Weezer CD again.

WOAH there.

Pinkerton is the only Weezer album I listen to, so that there is crazy talk to me.

Its better lyrically and muscially sounds so much better.

First 30 seconds of "Tired of Sex" > anything recorded after "Pinkerton"

Weezer's solid, the new album's ok, not amazing... I don't think I agree with anything in this thread.
