Canadian heads...

My friends are going up to Montreal this weekend and I was asked if I knew of any think involving hardcore shows. I wouldn't know where to look at all, any tip-offs would be greatly appreciated.

How is the hardcore scene in Canada, in general?

It's pretty big on the WEst Coast, but you know, I'm not really familiar with over there. See, Montreal is more known for weird, fringe artists like The Arcade Fire, Godspeed You Black Emperor and Wolf Parade

no doubt....i was just wondering what kinda scene was there--- after being witness to st. catherine street and its role as somewhat of the punk mecca of the city, i was assuming there would be a strong off-shoot of hardcore heads bopping around that area as well.

just trying to help some friends out.
