This made me think of 'Dopethrone' by Electric Wizard, a band from Dorset in the UK. Definitely check them out. Actually, i'll just upload that CD for you in the next couple of days - its ill. There are loads of reviews on Amazon.

I'd suggest maybe Goatsnake (guys from Sunn and Kyuss) and maybe certain Melvins albums?

Also - that Japanese band, Boris. Barknee put me onto them and they're dope.

Pig Destroyer. The heaviest band I've ever heard. Both Prowler in the Yard and Terrifier (sp?) are excellent. I'll upload them if you want Mr. Death.

Anybod want the new Eagles of Death Metal? It kinda sounds like some sped up QOTSA with a touch more sloppy. Not bad though.

NEW? I didn't know they had a new album. I really like their self-titled one. I heard some of those tracks and was surprised they didn't have more success. Very catchy, accessible stuff. But yeah, I'd love to hear it.
