I really didn't want to start this thread because I just made a poll, but nobody seems to be responding to my question.

Because of that thread I went out and bought Happiness and Owning Mahoney.

Is Love Liza worth getting? Any other movies besides the ones mentioned in the poll? Thanks in advance.

Nobody's Fool

Stop sleeping. Paul Newman, Bruce Willis, PSH, Melanie Griffith, and the late Jessica Tandy.

Download the HBO movie Empire Falls. Ed Harris, Paul Newman (steals the show), PSH. It won some awards and stuff.

Damn - I don't mean to :pause: be up everyone's ass on this, but have you ever seen "Nobody's Fool"? It's written by the same guy (Richard Russo), covers the same topics, and is a much better film/show...although I thought "Empire Falls" was pretty good.

And Josh Lucas steals the show as a young Paul Newman, imo. Dude has a lot of talent (he ran circles around everyone in "Undertow") and is gonna be a star.

Nobody's Fool is a pretty great flick, no doubt. I like Empire Falls too. PSH is better in Nobody's Fool, but I kinda feel like the other actors in Empire Falls are more cohesive as a cast, if that makes sense at all. Dennis Farina is pretty awesome as is William Fichtner.

Melanie Griffith was awful in Nobody's Fool by the way.

There are rumors that Josh Lucas is one of the favorites to play Two-Face in the next Batman movie. I think he could make a pretty dope Two-Face if he could tap into his dark side.
