I haven't heard this guys stuff but I know this year he kinda blew up. There is this guy at work who doesn't STFU about him. So I've come to the point where I'm really curious to hear his stuff.

Can anyone upload some stuff of his?

His first release "Harmful if Swallowed" is really fucking funny.

I didn't like the new one.

He gets pretty obnoxious after a while.

yeah his shit's hella redundant. this dude's been having me listen to him while we make a long drive for work on mondays.

his comedy isn't really edgy or anything new. it's actually pretty safe stuff. he cusses a lot to mask the fact that he's really not that dirty or edgy at all.

im not trying to hate for the sake of hating, but I bought his new cd cause I was very interested in hearing his shit.

I laughed like 3 times, overrall a painfully average comedian who is getting Chris Rock raves even though he shouldn't

I don't see the appeal at all.

he's a very animated comedian.

exactly. u cant judge him just by listening to him, u have to see him perform. i find his comedy to be solid. hes not chris rock, but he's still a pretty good comedian, hes a nice change of pace from carlin, rock, chappelle etc. (even though he is not even in those guys league).

Dane is the total package - hot, and fucking hysterical!

dane cook is not getting enough credit in this thread.

he's got his own brand of humor (whereas the vast majority of standup comedians are biters) and his delivery is great. there's no way he could possibly live up to the hype he's gotten but he's still one of the best contemporary standups.
