I'm ok with this, mad potential here if its done right. Carmen is scandalous and violent as shit. Also the score from the opera was ripped off for star wars, would be funny if it popped up here at all

StormShadow wrote:Dang, were you guys aware that back in the 70's Alex Cox wrote a book on Spaghetti Westerns that was never published?

And were you also aware that you can download it for free?

I wasn't.

Anyway, just right click save as:

This book eventually did get published...But dayum, looking back on this thread...SHIT is damn near 8 years old!

Watched this as part of a western collection I copped recently:

Blindman (1971)

Basically a spaghetti western Zatoichi. Had a strange offbeat vibe throughout while it desperately attempted to cater to a mainstream audience which made this a real oddity to watch: Tony Anthony looks like the weakest looking western protagonist you'll ever see with his dumbfounded-looking face and floppy hat; Ringo Starr is in it as a ruthless Mexican bandit (and he ain't even the main villain); and the gold/money in this is fifty mail order brides. Everything in this film should make it a disaster and yet it all works superbly.

Anyone else seen it?

Damn this BLU-RAY release looks sooo damn crispy.

March 31st!

Better sell my WILD EAST release for $200 before this comes out.

Yeah, I've been waiting for this along with a couple of other upcoming Arrow releases.
