December 2, 2008 - Santa's Got a Secret

Ron only wants to hear original Christmas music done by the staff and listeners this holiday season. Up first is Fez with his song "Santa's Got a Secret." Fez has his own secret that he's been holding in for a couple months now, only telling Ron and a few close friends. Callers have tried to break Ron into giving the secret up, but he refuses to do so, although he has said that if you had a million guesses, you'd get it on the first try.

Wheels, I never did get a chance to hear Steve Dahl's show, but I just heard Ron and Fez talking about him today and they said he lost his job.

What's up with that?

thanks for the re-ups. a few of the links i couldn't get at before are working now
truly epic post. i'll pretend i'm partially responsible for asking for more interviews in the unmasked thread

the serious interviews and rhetorical questions (anymore?) are by far my faves. for the most part i can't stand any of the bits or "shock jock" moments. dave for one is enjoyable in serious conversation but becomes sad and embarrassing the second he tries to be funny/shocking/cool.

ron is almost always on point & can seem to hold his own in any conversation. i've got to admit the listenership's racism/sexism/homophobia is a bit pathetic at times. mostly because you can tell ron's intelligent & when he's just having a laugh. the same can't be said for almost all of the callers

I'm pretty sure it's just his station changing formats. He's on WCKG, and has been for a few years, so it was overdue for a change. Terrestrial radio is crazy like that.

He's been on the air for 30 years, I'm sure someone will pick him up. If you ever hear Ron and Fez talk about Disco Demolition or Disco Sucks at Wrigley, they're talking about Steve Dahl.
