Eh, my bad. Ridley Scott made American Gangster and Gladiator, if I'm not mistaken, which were both mediocre and would have been much, much better had another director took the projects over. Imagine Scorsese or Spike Lee helming American Gangster for example.

The last movie of Ridley Scott's that I liked was Hannibal, and that's because is what so ridiculous and over the top you couldn't help but be entertained by it.

i'm a sucker for spy movies, crowe and leo are both reliable, so i'm pretty hyped

that being said, the trailer gives away too much - i feel like i already know what happends in this whole movie, and it seems kinda formulaic.
