Actors Who Annoy You So Much That....
you will seriously consider not watching a movie you KNOW is going to kick ass just because they are in it?
Thread is inspired by Justin Long and Die Hard 4.

Will Not:
Tom Hanks
Tom Cruise
Jack Black
Reese Witherspoon
Dane Cook
Natalie Portman
Scarlett Johansen
Zach Braff
Jaime Foxx
These days, fucking hate to say it, but Al Pacino.
As for people who I'll go see a movie for: Jeff Bridges, Peter Sarsgaard, Danny McBride, PS Hoffman, Laura Linney, Toni Collette, Kerri Washington (unrelated reasons). Probably some more.

Not that it plays a role in my decision, but she did breathy mumble her way through a whole album of tom waits covers. fucking horrid.Kalistoga wrote:what's so annoying about Scarlett Johansen? Did she go on some preachy rant at a red carpet event that I didn't know about?
in any case:
# Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008) .... Cristina
# The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) .... Mary Boleyn
# The Nanny Diaries (2007) .... Annie Braddock
# The Prestige (2006) .... Olivia Wenscombe
# The Black Dahlia (2006) .... Kay Lake
# Scoop (2006) .... Sondra Pransky
# The Island (2005) .... Jordan Two Delta / Sarah Jordan
# Match Point (2005) .... Nola Rice
Outside of being the most disappointing part of The Prestige, I just think she's a shitty, trucker voiced actress who likes to make bad movies.
Oh yeah, of course.Kalistoga wrote:When she reveals to have a nude scene you'll be rushing to the movie theatre just like me...
EDIT: fucking shit, can't believe nobody mentioned Ashton Kutcher yet. Absolutely will not see a movie if that dude is in it. Might is well throw in Cameron Diaz as well.

hate hate hate scarlett and natalie so much.
and zach braff
peter sarsgaard, however, is my favorite actor.
props for this list.
among others we've collectively dismissed..
- pulp fiction
- reality bites
- high fidelity
- ghost world
- raising arizona
- big
- being john malkovich
- happy gilmore
- the thin read line
- wild at heart
- toy story
and to me there's no point in even listing tom cruise or sean penn (wtf) movies. on different levels they're both douche bags.. but they've done a lot of great/near-classic/classic films. and even if you think cruise's performance has never stood out.. he's always been believable in the good movies he's in
