yeah, you're right about that. from what I understand the new one is a collection of studio outtakes, unreleased tracks and stuff like that.

That Radio Moscow, Mount Carmel, Flying Eyes and Endless Boogie, well all of it, sounds really good. i have none of that stuff.

i've been tracking this band for a while, but as far as i can tell they haven't actually released anything yet. guess i'm on the ground floor for this one

http://www.myspace.com/gypsylipsmusic

they're a bit more garage leaning and less jammy than most of the stuff here, but Psalm and Terrier are stone cold dirty blues

The instrumental songs on that Samsara Blues Experiment album are awesome. Even though blatant retroism is the reason i don't fuck with too much modern guitar shit, they're just so good that i can trick myself into believing that they're some unreleased Kyuss instrumentals from ..And The Circus Leaves Town.

The songs with vocals leave a lot to be desired, though. That's the other curse of so much modern rock stuff : terrible vocalists.

do you guy know about that festival in Italy that goes down every year?

It's name escapes me but it's ridiculous. Nothing but psych and stoner rock, dub, etc, only like 150 tickets available, they live in some commune in rural Italy for those days and every day the organizers send a text message revealing the location of the gigs, which is always some scenic as fuck cliff or beach.

It's pretty amazing.

oh, it's the DUNA JAM

here's CH in 2009

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/VmK-ukwTfUA&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/VmK-ukwTfUA&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

tickets are like 600 euros or some shit though :owens:

I elect Masked Terror to go in all our names and rectally abuse a chubby hippy girl while tripping balls (no homo)

I remember hearing about that jam. Sounds dope, though pretty darn expensive and a little strange with the texting...

Hearing CH at a place like that would be awesome though
