Im sure he's not the first producer thats said Nas is picky about beats.
Must be some industry inside joke.
The amount of beats that are originally intended for another artist only for them to pass or not use it is kind of crazy. Cant belive Jay & Bleek both passed on the 'Whoa' beat and Foxy didnt like 'Got A Story To Tell'
Other instances of this happening:
Big Daddy Kane passing on the 'Warning' beat
Sigel's 'Feel It In The Air' was originally for Black Rob
'We Gonna Make It' originally being done for Ras Kass
and a shit load of Primo beats seem to have started life intended for someone else (Im not sure which one of his 124 interviews this year to go back to to find out though)

Good shit. Surprised nobody's mentioned this: "..i did couple other things with BIG like commercials and several unreleased joints."
Amazing how Buckwild was "just starting to make beats" when he did all those OC demos and some of that album. Natural born talent like a muhfucka.

Word, if he started in 93 and he was making "Word...Life" and beats for Big L's album, that's amazing. Being a DJ and coming up around Diamond, Show, and Finesse must've helped too.Verge wrote: Amazing how Buckwild was "just starting to make beats" when he did all those OC demos and some of that album.
