So I've been putting this together: http://theyreminisce.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

You can click the respective words at the top to sort by names, dates, or causes.

I'm at the point now where I probably need a fresh set of eyes, so any additions and / or corrections are welcome.

Thanks. Just added a bunch more.

(Which puts it at over a thousand names now cataloged, making it by far the most comprehensive list of its kind.)

Just found out Father Shaheed from Poor Righteous Teachers died from a motorcycle accident. Also Kevlaar 7 from the Wisemen passed away earlier this year.

EDIT: Wow, I didn't know Big Kap died, rest in peace to him as well, I always bump that song "Da Ladies In The House" that he put together.

Sad news coming that the legendary UK hip-hop producer Insane Macbeth (Keith Rodgers) has passed away today because of leukemia. He had worked with rappers like Kinetic Effect, Icepick, Karl Hinds etc.

R.I.P air smooth (divine beings) of philadelphia

not only did he help the roots out as far back as the 'square roots' era, circa 91/93 but he also helped put beanie sigel on, circa 1995 as "beanie mack".

Rest In Peace to the following heads who recently passed away

Big Juan (from Boston hip hop group The Kreators) - not sure how he died
Rog-A-Rab (founding member of The Original Brooklyn Zoo) - died from drug overdose
Robo The Technician (dope MC from South Africa) - died from unknown illness in 2014, but I just found out
Prepare yourself now for the six man wedding!

Are you kidding me? GovnaMattic and Mr. 3-2 are dead??

Its official, all my favorite MC's are dying, this fuckin sucks. "Hell Up In Newark" from GovnaMattic is definitely one of my favorite albums of all time, and "Wicked Buddah Baby" by 3-2 is up there as well. Rest in Peace to both of these guys.

Also, Rest in peace to Couzin Steve, a really dope MC out of Netherlands who recently passed away due to cancer, he gave us the classic track "Movin On"
