RZA Teams Up With Atari to Compose New Album Inspired by Video Game Music
Re: postmortem: wutang
In other wu news. RZA has given all creative control to Ghostface for their next LP
Re: postmortem: wutang
That's actually very exciting news. I could see how some would be skeptical based on Ghost's recent output, but I don't think he was exercising complete creative control on any of those. The last album that feels like a real Ghostface album to me is Big Doe Rehab, and I think that's aged very well. Ghost saying he'll just start all the tracks himself and then send them out to everyone else to follow his lead sounds like a good route to try at this point.
Re: postmortem: wutang
Frankly Ghost has had the best ear for (outside) production since supreme clientele. I can support this move

but the worst of is still better than so many things in rap these days
as a lifelong disciple of RZA, I can't believe I haven't heard the Banks & Steele album yet.
but everytime: I play 2 songs, then... I stop.
Method Man is still killing every verse though. God damn his wordplay is lava
