(here you can read how the project took shape, written bij DJ Coma)
First off, I want to give a huge shout out to Bomb1st staff and all the people that contributed or supported this project. It was an experiment that I was unsure would work out. For those of you who aren't aware, with this project we took a different approach to the traditional buying group. In the past there have been a lot of drama and negativity with buying groups because people would resell, leak, etc. Pretty much everything that gets sold gets leaked eventually, so we figured why not just leak it to the community when a goal amount is reached and avoid all the negativity?
We set a recommended contribution amount, but we accepted contributions of any amount. The idea was if you want this material, put in what you can afford or what you think it’s worth. This way each person didn’t have to put up hundreds of dollars to make it happen. The outcome was overwhelmingly positive. The only negative feedback we got was from people who didn’t understand the setup of the project and when I explained it to them they changed their tune. We also had people contribute who said they weren’t really interested in this material, but were supportive of the positive concept behind it. It was great to see the community, which is usually divided, come together for this. I hope this sets an example as a proof of concept for other people in the scene with connections to unheard material to follow. If another forum can throw something like this together I will gladly support where I can. If we got 35-40 people to successfully pool our money together for some 2nd gen Death Row material that a majority of the scene wasn’t even interested in, I would estimate we could get over 100 people to contribute for a Pac unheard. Just get some proof it’s real and let’s move on it as a community.

It's not a bootleg, but an official compilation which never came out back in 1998.

I was talking about The Realest and Top Dogg. The comp is trash hence the write up.

Re-touched means exactly that :) Be sure to check the Dr Dre tracks, they were supposed to be released on Suge Knight Represents: Chronic 2000. There were even ads in magazines promoting those tracks "Dr Dre how he should sound etc". Dre prevented Deathrow releasing those tracks and any other unreleased track he raps on. The 4 tracks are the 3 in the EP I think and maybe OG to BG.

The gem/rarity on the inside out comp is the Soopafly song

Yeah that's probably the reason this never came out officially

From djcoma:

"It actually was only pulled because Breakaway Ent. folded. So it wasn't pulled because Death Row wasn't happy with it. Chronic 2000 was way better though."

I'm glad Mr. Officer was changed; The Day the Niggaz Took Over is a way better song.

Much appreciated for posting this! Just a few quick thoughts:
- that K-Solo track hits hard, I wonder who produced it?
- 'Where The Party At' by O.F.T.B. uses the same beat as Dogg Pound's 'Respect'
- 'Get Busy' by Lady Of Rage has got that Miami bass sound -> I find it hard to believe Daz produced it

Another reason to download this compilation, it includes a Bonus folder with the following songs:
1) Daz Dillinger ft The Gang - Dogg Pound Criminals (Ruff Mix)
2) J-Flexx ft Danny Boy - Around The World (Original)
3) Lil' C-Style ft Snoop Doggy Dogg - Nina Ross (Ruff Mix)
4) O.F.T.B. ft Big Pimpin', Snoop Doggy Dogg & Kurupt Tha Kingpin - That Was Then (Ruff Mix)
5) Snoop Doggy Dogg - Fallin' Asleep On Death Row (Ruff Mix)
6) Soopafly - Phone Conversation (Ruff Mix)
7) Tha Dogg Pound - Niggaz Don't Give A Fuck (Dr Dre Ruff Mix)
8) Tha Dogg Pound - What Would U Do (Dr Dre Mix Complete)
9) Tha Dogg Pound ft Kaution - Would U Kill 4 Me (Ruff Mix)

Thanks for mentioning the extra tracks, I didn't know the bonus tracks were in an extra folder (they leaked separately).
It's not known who produced The K-Solo, but I really like the rugged sound, sounds like he had creative freedom at DR. And I hope the snippet track at the end leaks. There's more K-solo to come in the future :). The Rage track doesn't sound like a regular Daz beat, indeed.

About the CPO track : More interesting info straight from CPO himself Cool

"I don't know what the Dre may or may not have done to that track when I wasn't around. But I'm 99% sure it's all Barney. And to be honest, Barney just threw that together in a few minutes. It's nothing at all compared to what he can do when he's really in the mood and focused.

Its the reason why I like to work with producers like Barney Rubble, Dre aka Bokie, Chill from CMW and Dr. Dre. Talented is an understatement with those dudes. I've watched them throw tracks together in no time that are Hits. And the Tracks they take their time on are Just like Wowww!!!

They're absolutely gifted people."

Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly
