Damn, and here I thought it was the best Marvel show since Daredevil season 1. And yes, Amber Rose Revah is smoking.

Punisher was great! That last episode was brutal.

I’ll take this opinion over the champion of shitty “b” movies.

Out of corporate loyalty fanboys can't see the grass from the trees and this was nothing other than a forgettable show.

Shot in the Dark was pretty good, quick watch too. I don't know how or why these guys do that job. I definitely see similarities to the Lewis Bloom character too which was unnerving.

I watched Punisher one episode at a time for the most part and I really enjoyed it. These Marvel shows get boring and lost in their tone if you binge them.

Happy with all of the money they're putting into original programming but it's extremely noticeable that they don't put much money into older movies and shows like they used to... maybe open up a strong lane for another alternative like Hulu... just miss all of the classics Netflix used to have... x files... tons of movies gone... it's slimmed down quite a bit

They’re getting rid of it's always Sunny and a bunch of more shows this month as well

Just finished season 1 of stranger things...it was good enough but I think it was a little too overhyped, especially after just watching ozark, mindhunter, and man hunt Unabomber... I hear second season is better

Regarding Punisher, how does Micro's wife not recognize "Pete" as Frank Castle right away?

Finally finished Punisher, thought it was fine. Way too long, which was expected, and not good enough to make anything really poignant out of the PTSD kid going postal, also expected. The sledge hammer beatdown in the first ep felt wildly out of place, the tone was wrong and didn't fit the rest of the show. But Berenthal was great, the roommate buddy comedy with Micro worked surprisingly well, and I liked how it took on a John Woo-ish kind of brother vs brother tinge in the last few eps. The slow pace didn't bother me too much, things that are nominally about shooting but are actually mostly about moping are fine with me.

Probably my favorite Marvel Netflix since Jessica Jones, although that's not really saying much.

Oh shit. I never even knew this was being adapted for television. Great book. Takeshi Kovacs is a awesome antihero. Never even knew this book was popular enough to warrant an adaptation

Just fired up Frontier season 2 and it's fantastic after a couple episodes. Production value and scope has stepped up and it's as sleazy and quick moving as ever.

I've also heard Dark is very good, anyone peeped it? Plan to watch it after I finish Frontier.

Wheelman is a solid if not spectacular action vehicle for Frank Grillo. The concept of a getaway driver is obviously repetitive at this point, but I enjoyed this one regardless.

Last season of BM only had one good episode and the rest was a bit of a chore to sit through. Wonder if this season will have some more intensity or if it will be a bit wanky and middlebrow as well.

Saw the first episode of Mind Hunter and thought the beginning was incredible but then it started to look like a normal tv-drama (as in dull, from my perspective). Would give the rest a chance but 10 episodes seems like too big of an investment.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly
