Hey, by the way who's Curt?
Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
I think Steve Wilks will be the Giants frontrunner at this point.
Maybe Shurmur if they are 100 percent drafting a QB and think he's the best choice for coaching someone up.
Also read a rumor that Shurmur and Keenum could be a package deal. Not sure the Giants would be interested in that, though.

Don't care how well he's playing this season so far, Keenum is not legit.DLG wrote:I think Steve Wilks will be the Giants frontrunner at this point.

Keenum is legit, and more than that, the Vikes have the best overall roster by a significant margin. Pats are the only team I see beating them.

I have to agree with Gucci... it is a matter of time before keenum shows his ugly face... as good as that D is I think the veteran finds a way to get it done... whether its brees or ryan

Eagles are all defense right now. I want them to get there, but they were lucky to even beat the Falcons on just FGs.Ramen wrote:that was crazy, can the weather help the eagles get in the ship?

Can't see iggles beating minny. Iggles are running on fumes...
Pats vs minny with pats being in a SB road game is pretty interesting

Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
Vikings can never do something the easy way. Dominate the first half 17-0, at home. With their defense it should be easy as fuck to finish.an-also wrote:wow. that was insane.
Obviously give up the go-ahead TD, somehow kick a 53yd fg to regain the lead. Every Vikings fan knew they would give up the counter punch fg.
You are just crushed, they did it again and epic choked.
Then that play happens, 3 hours later. Still amped up. This never happens to the Vikings.
If the Vikings win the Superbowl that play joins the Drive, the Catch and other Legendary moments in NFL history. I don't know what they'll call it but all time classic play, hopefully remembered like those plays and not like the Music City Miracle where the Titans lost the SB a few weeks later.

Case Keenum vs Blake Bortles is the Super Bowl we need and deserve.

Congrats to you brah. the curse has finally been lifted.
Shurmur def coming to NY, no Keenum though. Giants definitely drafting Rosen. Which is why Shurmur gets the job.
Hopefully he can assemble a quality staff.

Vikings and Jaguars is the super bowl we need and deserve. New England somehow getting screwed would be perfect too.
Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
Jags to beat the pats 20-17.
Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
would be funny/tragic if brady sits and the pats still win.

Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
@Kel
You're getting Ben McAdoo, dude!
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Vikings will "consider" former Giants coach Ben McAdoo to replace Pat Shurmur at offensive coordinator.
Shurmur will be announced as the Giants' head coach after the Vikings conclude their season. He'll be replacing McAdoo, who was fired after Week 13. McAdoo was obviously out of his depth as a head coach, but he still has something to offer as a coordinator. Ex-Broncos OC Mike McCoy is also on the Vikings' radar, according to Rapoport.

Every time you get a little hope the Vikings come back and crush it. Even had a great 1st possession TD drive.

Re: The Official 2017 NFL Season Thread
Underdog is 5-1 in the last 6, would have been a clean 6-0 if AtL had a real coach.
opening line is NE-5.5, roughly 2/1 favorite
NE probably should have lost today, and the Tenn game didn't mean much as Tenn was a bottom 5 team to make the playoffs in the last 10ys.
