I bought a buttload of dvds for a buck apiece in Vietnam, and thought I'd share the wealth. Here's a list of some dope war movies I have. I will YouSendIt the one with the most votes by tommorrow night.
Apocalypse Now
Born on the Fourth of July
Das Boot
Dr. Strangelove
Full Metal Jacket
Glory
No Man's Land
Patton
Platoon
Saints and Soldiers
Saving Private Ryan
The Red and the White

Still haven't seen this in its entirety, so that's my vote, too.

In the race of most times I've seen a movie, Platoon is a close second to Never Ending Story.
What was the name Bastion gave the Princess?

Strangelove is great, but its more of a comedy. I still think Saving Private Ryan is one of the better war movies I've ever seen, but Apocalypse Now is also very good.
I like The Longest Day as well, but I still haven't seen the whole thing

Platoon or Saving Private Ryan. I heard somewhere that vietnam war veterans said that Platoon was extremely accurate to the hell that when on went on in vietnam.
