Re: 2016-17 NFL Season Thread

You can't fix the Oline problem mid-season. Peterson was good enough to be effective despite the line. I mean he somehow won the rushing title last year, the line was just as shitty then. Honestly they just need to grind out 11-5, then hope they can string 4 defensive masterpieces together like the ...

Re: The 2016-17 NBA Season Thread

Westbrook 51/13/10 on 44 shots. Looking forward to a whole season of these. He's a solid bet for MVP, OKC could still get to ~50 wins. Curry/Durant will never win it. Either could be the true mvp but neither will win the award. Lebron he'll get a boost from the finals last year and that the voters ...

Re: The Official 2016 NBA Offseason/Draft Thread

Well that assumes that Draymond is still Draymond if he doesn't hit other players in the nuts. If he got the 2+ games he deserved in the OKC series they probably lose that series.

Like OBJ you just have to live with the fact that they will fuck you over sometimes.

Re: 2016 MLB Thread

I think MN needs to trade him, it's clear the team is shit and going to be shit for at least 2 more years he's going to fetch a ton since he has a 2/15 contract for what you'd expect to pay 50+ for. I hate how bad baseball players get fucked at the beginning of their career where someone like Trout ...

that trade tho :fail: It's hard to get placed in a shittier spot than MN was. Starting QB out for the year a week before the season when you had realistic title shot, it's only happened a handful of times in the last 10 years. You overpay for a QB or you pray you can pull together a Dilfer or Manni...

Re: Bulls big 3 vs Warriors big 3

H2H Bulls team probably, vs the league as a whole GSW. Klay is a lot better than the Bulls #4 though. Curry can't play defense and teams figured out how to target him and it tanked his shooting. In a playoff setting his value drops a modest amount. No one tries that hard in the regular season and GS...

Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread

I can at least see arguments for Shaq/Duncan/KAJ and comparing bigs vs wings is tough. But it is an absolute joke to consider Bird/Magic/Kobe to be anywhere near him. I mean Lebron's 6th best year is better than the best year of the 3 of their's combined career.

Lebron has 13 full seasons played, 199 playoff games. He's top 3 at absolute worst.

Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread

They made plenty of threes. Not sure what game you were watching. Curry wasn't healthy. Bogut being out was huge and Barnes disappeared. While I don't think Curry was 100% healthy(is anyone at this point?) a lot of his trouble was Cleveland absolutely targeted him on defense. GS tried to hide him o...

For the first time in lebrons career he truly did something Jordan-esque... He did that when he was 21 vs Detroit. Jordan may very well be the GOAT, it's close. Lebron is clearly not done either. Only sport I know that has a undisputed GOAT that completely shits on #2 is Cricket. If you pick any pl...

The suspension was weak for that play but he should have missed 2 vs OKC so it balances out. It's not a suspension if he hadn't already had multiple flagrants.

He's played 45 minutes when he chases that down. Just unreal.

kind of liked the narrative of Cleveland teams never winning it, don't want to see the streak ended. All of this is ultimately leading to a crazy heart breaking devestation game 7 loss for the city of cleveland. All streaks eventually end. Lebron with 41/16/7, 3 blocks, 3 steals only 2TO you aren't going to find many better finals games than that, especially on the road. imagine if Lebron had Wiggins. Kevin Love is very fragile and way too white for a CA kid Wiggins isn't anywhere near ready to be a crucial piece of a title team. Awful long term trade, negligible difference to slight positive short term. KAT on the other hand could take over the NBA very soon. Red ...

So does the NBA back off an obvious suspension because of how crucial the game is for GSW? This is the first actual test GS faced in the last 2 years, they had so much good fortune last year, now it's backs against the wall playing without your #2 guy on the road. Regular season kings or actual all-...
