Re: The 2015 NFL Thread

Big win for MN, they are >90% to make playoffs now, winning the division will be tough and probably involve them winning @GB. Home vs Seattle should be fun, and another test to see if they are legit, they passed 2 road tests and failed pretty miserably vs GB.

Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread

It really looks like only injuries will stop GS from a 73-9 season, they are perfectly build for the regular season, they have 9 games vs SaS, OKC, Clev left on the schedule which are basically the only teams they aren't 8-10point favorites against.

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread

Apparently took a decade but Carson Palmer recovered from that cheapshot injury, Arizona is probably #2 most likely to win Superbowl after NE Fitzgerald is having a huge resurgence year too, Chris Johnson as well. If you said your team was dependent on those 3, you'd be thinking 6-10 but Arizona is ...

Kat is going to be a star, Wiggins looks good so far, Rubio shoots like it's still 1955 but decently valuable, first time in a decade MN has promise though probably a year away.

man what a difference 3 weeks makes, pretty insane that MN is going into the GB game ahead in standings.

no easy games left on the schedule, getting this one was nice.

I saw Teddy B take that nasty cheap shot today. Is dude gonna be ok?
Hope so, the only game left for them that could be considered easy is Home vs Chicago, the other 7 are all vs good teams

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread

Raiders are the best not Patriots afc team. Bengals are legit. Raiders got a long way to go. almost blew it last week, almost blew it this week. Denver's defense is really fucking good, Manning seems to be finished but he's good enough to let the defense carry well NE won't lose but Denver seems as...

Re: The 2015 NFL Thread

Wow Manning has been god-awful this year, you saw signs at the end of last year that the end was coming fast and it seems we're there. Their defense certainly is good enough to win a title, but he's going to need to improve a lot for them to get past Cincy or NE. NE dropping a game to Indy would be ...

I don't understand how he was safe. He never intended to end up on second. The slide was dirty but legal. He's played 4 years, been MVP all 4 years, and there is a good chance that the only time he actually wins the award is in the worst season he's had. He just turned 24, has 38.5 Career WAR other alltime greats through yr they turned 24 Mantle ~30 Mays ~24 Bonds 14(really got going at 26) Ruth 18.4(27...

Re: The 2015-16 NBA Thread

Anthony Davis gonna be next level this season... supporting cast isn't there, he'll carry them to #6 seed since West is stacked and they lose round 1 unless he god-modes, then they lose round 2 he'll be the best player in the league though and not just "best" because you've been sick of saying its ...

Re: The 2015 MLB Thread

Whoever is the MVP, one thing is clear both are criminally under paid. Trout 5.2 million, Donaldson 4.3. Donaldson gets the luxury of getting fucked for 3 more years too. Trout gets fucked the next 2 and then has 3 years at a respectable 33/yr. He has the luxury of being 29 when his deal is done and...

Re: The 2015 MLB Thread

Also, it's sort of funny that the argument that supports Donaldson's case as MVP is basically the same argument for Trout over Miggy in 2012. eh, Miggy has always been an atrocious fielder, and pretty bad on the baserunning. Trout's defense/baserunning was inflated but he had a 4WAR edge and scalin...

Re: The 2015 MLB Thread

Pretty amusing that Kershaw is clearly the best pitcher in baseball and going to finish a distant 3rd in Cy Young voting. Trout vs Donaldson is an interesting battle for MVP, it's basically even. I'd give it to Trout since him having 1 MVP out of 4years is laughably bad, if he had 3, I'd switch to D...

They're a year away and ahead of schedule. I'd be fine with it if I were a twins fan. Re: pick the best season

I didn't spend much time thinking about who they were but after the positions got it pretty quick. I had the idea well if it was Carlos Gomez defense in CF vs ok/bad Defense in SS, that B could be the winner and that was more or less exactly what it was. Though given how insanely volatile defensive ...

Yeah the list of players with 40%usg and 45mpg is like 100 long The overall score through 3 was like GS-3 and around GS -30 in 4th/ot they really did just run out of gas Cleveland was forced to play without 2 starters due to injuries. GS was able to bench 2 starters and improve their matchups. Think...
