I think varys plotted that whole shit. His mo is unclear atm but i feel like him and lil finger are gonna end up being the main two chess players moving all the pieces Not at all. Not gonna compare this show to BB, but is it better than True Detective? PEACE Easily. I think it's just simply because it's incredibly hard to knock it out of the park for 10 hours when your story is really only based on two characters, whereas with Fargo they're populating an entire world with ch...

Nah, she's not dead. First cheap move this show has made, which in itself is impressive.
Heretical question: at what point do we need to have the conversation about if the show is better than the flick?

Emily Nussbaum is the only TV critic that I consistently expect to be good. Sepinwall is fucking great as a recap guy, but not really as a critic. As a film critic Wesley Morris is good more often than not.

^^^ sure is. Best actor on the show. Dude was even great in the overall shitty and short lived Law & Order: LA. The craziest part to me is how quickly they burn through plot on this show. Sapp was the more well-rounded player, and the more consistently dominate player.
The crazy part is that John Randle was likely better than both of them, but nobody gives a shit because he was wasting away in MN for his whole career.

yeah, you can tell they are trying to tone down Samberg's obnoxiousness though, and its a better show for it. Absolutely. p&g being a 90s movie at heart. I don't completely agree with it (see below) but there is def something to it. there IS something in the movie reminiscent of the quirky 90s indy crime thrillers, spliced with Bay's relatively 'smaller' but already garish style pre-BB2 p&g feels more cynical and jade...

I liked it a lot. A little slow but in that good kinda way that doesn't get boring. It feels like a movie. I'm curious what the long term plan for this show is.
