Don't do any monitoring/mixing with Dre Beats. Stay far away. They have an EQ curve already wired in the firmware. I like my Audio Technica ATH-M50x pair. They're cheap(ish) with a pretty flat response as far as I can tell, if anything if you make it sound dope in them, it'll translate fairly well. ...
