http://www.movielowdown.com/reviews/video/Croupier/poster.jpg Great movie, great pick. Indeed, just don't make my mistake by checking out I'll Sleep When I'm Dead. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead is my shit. I was gonna nominate that. Also http://images.amazon.com/images/P/079073642X.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg...

The guy is a flat out basketball player. Position doesn't really matter anymore in the league. You got Stoudemire playing center, 6-6 guys playing point guard...if he can play, he can play. Besides, what centers is he going to go up against in the East anyway? Shaq, Eddy Curry? Right now he reminds...

who cares the show's still good yeah, but your a guy who just watches the show "cause it funny" A really big Simpsons fan expects the quality, and creative writing we got in 2-7. The show was such a big part of my life, and it was crushing to see it run out of steam after season 8, and then make 8 ...

King of Comedy: When he shows up at Jerry Langford's house; the most awkward moment in any film I've seen. And-another brilliant awkward moment-when he waits for 3 hours in Jerry's office for an appointment that doesn't exist. Meet the Parents: "You smoking dope Focker?" ....Underrated performance t...

No Malick? Fuck this. :ironmike: And Woo's on there, but not Jean Luc Godard, Wai, Bertolluci, Antonioni, and de Sica? Sup with that? And even though I don't necessarily agree, Steven Spielburg isn't that bad of a #1 choice - dude is one of the most versatile directors of all time. Peter Jacks...

I'm saying the general population gravitates toward movies/tv shows/etc. that validates themselves and makes themselves and their racial/economic/ethnic group look good. (And there's nothing wrong with that. I'm sure minority viewership of the PGA tour went up after Tiger Woods started on the scene...

That dude from PCU and that one show I don't know him personally but I know the dude. But I read your post on the second page Icesickle and you're implying you think all Blacks are a certain way then you're mistaken. You act like Blacks can't be well-spoken, intelligent, and hold down good jobs. Co...

The Cavs should let every FA walk (including Z) and go all out for Joe Johnson (or Bobby Simmons) and Earl Watson. Then try to package the young fellows (Jackson, Diop) for a steady big guy (like a less crazy Fortson would be perfect). eh... so, with all that money that they have, you want them to ...

Again, I want to state for the record that I was one of the first people to say that Ghost was one of the best MCs period, not just the best out of the Wu. I used to transcibe dudes verses like and study them the Deep Sea Scrolls back when most people thought he was just Raekwon's sidekick. :bunny: ...

The Roots and.....Wilco?
:ohsh: For 3 dates at least... Makes a little sense being that they're both jam bands that sell records off the word-of-mouth they get from their live performances. Interesting combo, but I'll be giving the gasface if Jeff Tweedy fills in for Cody Chesnutt when the Roots do "Seed 2.0." http://www.wi...

I think the Hawks would be making a big mistake trading the #2 for Marbury and the #8. They need to get Chris Paul, put Al Harrington at Center, and be the East Conference Suns... Paul running down and hooking up Josh Smith and Harrington on fast breaks--with Childress trailing--would be fun to watch.

anyway back to my original point Bogut sucks...he disappeared when his team needed him, he's not all that good of a defender, he lacks the intangibles that make a good center people are just jocking him cus he's a 7 footer remember darko people i completely disagree. and this shows me you've watche...

Sorry guys, the Spurs got it this year. They have the 3 best players on a team together right now. It takes three stars to win a championship, the only team that could beat them is the Pistons but they have to play as a team all series and the Spurs still are much deeper. Parker Ginobili and Ducan ...

 @ Phila for creating a poll, then chastising the voters. haha I anit gonna lie. I was only 4 years old in 1988. Funny thing about it is that I was listening to hip hop in 88. Do you people sincerely believe Masta Killa, Cormega, and Prodigy are better MCs than BDK, Posdnous, Slick Rick, Dres, and Lord Finesse? I'm  for you.
