Has anyone else noticed that the actor who plays David Palmer is starring in another show premiering soon? Palmer showed up in this season's previews but I don't expect him to stick around long.

Whoever said that The Simpsons writers are scraping the bottom of the barrel was half-right. I think there is a HUGE amount of story left to all the side characters that is being completely unused. It's almost like, "Here's the barrel, see what's left" when there's a brand new barrel sitting right ...
