This is very unimpressive.
Hmmm, maybe weezy is just not for me.
Have you heard the verse? The text does not come close to doing it justice.
If so then maybe Weezy isn't for you. I can respect your opinion, but I'll disagree.

word. for all the people who voted for kanye, i have yet to see any of them post a kanye verse in this thread
I haven't voted, but Kanye's a pretty good lyricist. He's underrated as a lyricist on here, Wayne's overrated. He's not as lyrically lyrical and his flow's not as impressive as Wayne, but he's fairly witty and doesn't drop lines that make no sense:
From the Polo fleece to the Jesus piece
I got family in high places like Jesus' niece
Can I please, say my peace
If y'all fresh to death, then I'm deceased
And this one here, is heat rocks
Spit like a beat box, the way the beat rocks
New version of Pete Rock!
But for that Benz I get CL love
So I switch my girls around like 3L-dub [3LW]

His Knuck if you Buck freestyle is classic
"Lampin' in the Hamptons like what the fuck is a Hammock
The chef up in the kitchen like what the fuck is a sandwich?
I'm like we gotta find middle ground, we need balance"
Best Kanye beat I have heard in a loooong time. So simple.
Weezy is too repitive for my liking here, but Im glad he is still trying to flip new styles. People dont seem to do that anymore (another reason you gotta love Wayne).
This is from the Carter 3 Sessions mixtape and was most likely cut from the final album. I really hope Wayne reworks his verses. This beat is way too ill to waste on some practice/experiment bullshit.
By the way, judging from that outakes mixtape, Carter 3 should have some amazing production.
Suprised Kanye is winning here. I voted Kanye. I don't dislike Wayne but his style and his whole gimmick is just boring to me. Kanye isn't a better rapper...but in terms of quality and actual albums...it is note even close.

Quite possibly the most annoying song i've ever heard. The beat is heat but wayne totally ruined it. I'd vote for llyod banks before i'd vote for wayne after hearing this song.

Agreed. But like I said, hopefully he was just trying something new here and will rework the song for the album.

and then when you tell them that line are they like "oh my god you're right he is gay".

nah, we give him mad props and talk about if he died today, vibe magazine would rank him as one of the top 20 best rappers ever. it's hard to rhyme help with myself, myself with myself, and then myself with help again.
Don't front Kanye's first verse on "Can't Tell Me Nothing."
I had a dream I could buy my way to heaven
When I awoke I spent that on a necklace
I told God I'd be back in a second
Man it's so hard not to act reckless
To whom much is given, much is tested
Get arrested, guess until he get the message
I feel the pressure, under more scrutiny
And what I do?
Act more stupidly
Bought more jewelry
More Louis V
My momma couldn't get through to me
The drama, people suing me
I'm on TV talking like it's just you and me
I'm just saying how I feel man
I ain't one of the Cosbys, I aint go to Hill man
I guess the money should've changed him
I guess I should've forgot where I came from
