he doesn't know this, but he said something to me about my garbage music that inspired me.
spending about 3 hours in a car driving around minneapolis with you getting stoned and listening to your new records before anyone else was definitely in the top 10 of cool things I did this year. its been a good fucking year and that trip to the miniapple feels like it happened two years ago.

glad I could inspire ... truth be told, I was so fucking stoned, that was also the single strangest experience because I had never listened to someone's music with them sitting right next to me.

The illest thing I remember about that day was listening to "Less One" for the first time and coincidentally rolling up real slow on some cop lights that had another car pulled over. That shit is burned in my skull.

slug also saved a parking spot for me outside a venue in Santa Cruz.

I talked briefly with Slug outside of Annie's this year at Scribble, first time I ever met dude...Seems like a good dude, mad sarcastic...I asked him he minded that I shoot some flicks on stage w/ the flash on, and he said it was no problem...That's awesome in my book, I told him I had artists scream on me before and wanted to avoid that...After all, Atmosphere is still one of my favorite groups, *no fanboy*...

A few hours later, I submitted a music video I did for a fellow Philaflavoran, in the first music video competition...I was walking past the table where they were taking submissions, and noticed that it was playing on a flat-screen tv in the background...Flattered, I stood back and watched it(I never had seen it on a tv, only cpu monitor's) and noticed Ant was watching it over my shoulder for a couple of minute's...He said he loved the artists(H18) and he dapped me up for having a dope video, I told him that me makes terrible music and should never get behind the boards, again...J/k...

Hopefully they'll come back to DC in '09...

Here are some flicks from the show, other's are on my page:

I'm incredibly impressed at the reliability of your memory/memories.

I am sure my life is amazing... probably not even half as amazing as yours... but I still don't remember very much from the past 10 years.

probably obscured by my delusions of... delusion. :cookiecookie:

Before Kizer passed we got extremely weeded and went to see an atmosphere show at Metro. We were late, but somehow dude managed to slide us up to the front so we were pretty much on the rail. At some point in the set Kize gets the blurry eyed stares and is just zoned the fuck out on what's happening on stage.

Sluggo comes over and points right at pete and does the "I'd rather that you throw your hands in the air but if that's too demanding you can just stand there and stare."

At which point Kize snaps back to life and gets all geeked. He's all "Man that was dope you hear that shit I was zonin' and he busted that line about me freestyle slug is dope blah blah blah." He hadn't been much of a fan prior, but I guess that really impressed him because he hadn't heard the line before.

I was wearing an atmosphere shirt and that line was literally printed on the back. I didn't have the heart to tell Kizer.

yeah you was on your weirdo grind with the video camera that night so I made fun of you for having on the same jacket from the picture of when I first heard of you. You ain't start showing me love until that Brainstorm2 thing. It was all Jesus from there.

Funny story. One time Atmosphere rocked in Philly @ the Church and I came in late because for some reason we tried to have our own show the same day ( :fail: ). So me & Dos (moreso me) being those guys who always want to rap at every show we made our way to the front of that swelteringly packed house (church) and we (mostly me again) tried to get anybody's attention to try and get onstage and rap. So these girls come up to me like "Wow! You clearly know these guys. If I pay you will you introduce me?" What I'ma say? no? They gave me like $50. I walked them over and Slug kinda beat me to the punch and introduced himself. So I gave em a couple cds just to make it right.

Damn now that I think about it...those 20 or whatever times...except for the first one you always been very cool to me. Preciate ya. (no :omggay: )

peace
