Yesterday, Little Brother MC Big Pooh's latest street LP, Delightful Bars, splattered across iTune screens worldwide. This "special iTunes only" version, also known as the Candy Apple Version, is the first of four Delightful Bar releases. Boasting guest features from Chaundon, Jozeemo, Roc C, Joe Scudda, as well as bouncing over beats provided by Khrysis, Oh No, 9th Wonder, and Illmind-- Pooh shows hip hop heads that he has only gotten better with time.

Georgia Anne Muldrow recently put out her latest effort, Georgia Anne Muldrow Presents...Ms. One & The Gang (out now via iTunes). The project is a compilation album under her production alias, Ms. One, and it features Black Milk, Rapper Big Pooh, Jimetta Rose, Eagle Nebula, Illicit Child, Stacy Epps, and more. Here we have one of the standout tracks, the aptly titled "2 MC's" featuring Black Milk and Rapper Big Pooh (Georgia’s remix of Mello Music Group’s “Drugs Outside”).

Exactly what I needed to start off one helluva long week at work-- Damu on the boards and the vocals! Damu the Fudgemunk recently said this about his new track:

“Recorded on inauguration day, just done in the midst of other musical tasks. I was feelin’ it so I layed it down.The beat is from 07, it was originally for the Travel (At Your Own Pace) sequel. It got scrapped once I made new batch. The rhymes fit and the beat was already sequenced that way. I dumped the beat (in protools) and dropped the rhymes.”

Here are two ill new tunes from CL Smooth and Strange Fruit Project off of Vee's latest producer compilation record, State of Mind. I cannot find any information about the album, but this 2009 release is chock full of rolling pianos, lush atmospheric rhythms, and serene sounds mixed with hip hop vocals.
