Sounds Like The 90's (Volume 9) - September
A little bit late due to my vaca. I actually had most of this done before the Rae release so thats why he appears twice. Props to Kalel and Strategy as usual. There might be some unfamiliar stuff to a few of you. Give it a try because you might discover something new like D. Black, Truck North, BeatMonstas or Notes To Self. Burn it and let it ride. Peace.

Props. Needed something new consisting of things I didn't find myself. And I'm steady losing faith in hip hop based on what it's become. I know theres cats out there that still make dope shit, but it gets harder every year. TV and Radio is disgustin...but of course it's been like that for a long time...Thanks, going to peep now.
And NONE of these cuts have a chance of making it on Philosophy...you should be ashamed of yourself. Did you know that Lakim Shabazz rocked AC's show the other night for 24 hours and was paid just a sandwich? Then he got tired and since the furniture was covered in AC's Downs babies and he was on the floor Lakim slept in the dead birds birdcage and ate bean flavored birdseed for another 24 hours because he wanted to let AC know he was THAT DOWN.

None of these cats would get play by AC with the exception maybe Notes To Self and that's not even guaranteed.
If it isn't Percee P, Dooley-O or John Robinson it ain't real hip-hop. You know, the artists who are nice to AC THE PD in fear he might stalk them. He only likes those guys. The "nice" ones.

Yeah this is dope only heard about half...Like the sample Al used for Buc Fifty popping up again on "Milli Vanilli". I hope Ras can come back. He will never be huge but should be able to keep his career going. 3 DUI's don't help, but he's talented as fuck...be a shame for him to go away for good.

too bad this is probably going to be his last album. I read an interview with him recently and he got CRAZY religious. you got a link to his new one?Philaflava wrote:I'm a huge fan of Vitamin D and Jake One. On D's album I think Vitamin had the best beats he's done in ages. I wasn't too familiar with D. Black but gave it a listen and think he has a lot of potential.QWALMS wrote:props for having d.black on there. one of seattle's finest.
