GZA & Muggs - Grandmasters (fuck you guys, this album is great)
Dr. Dre - 2001
Pete Rock - Soul Survivor
Quik & Kurupt - Blaqout
Ray Cash & Kickdrums
Aesop Rock - Float
Wu-Tang - Guest Chambers
Juggaknots - Clear Blue Skies
Battlecat - Gumbo Roots
Saigon & Statik - All In A Day's Work
Qwel & Maker - Harvest
AZ - Memphis Sessions / Cookin Soul AWOL Redux
Gangstarr - Full Clip / Ownerz
Bronze Nazareth - Great Migration
Jedi Mind Trick - Violent By Design
Goretex - The Art of Dying
Did Just Blaze do all of Philadelphia Freeway?
Wish more people would stick to a single producer.
I barely like any of the above rappers much, but the coherent production makes these albums so much stronger.

Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

vastly underrated in the context which is the premise for the thread. easily one of the most cohesive sounding rap records, album or mixtape, on recent memory

not all, but there's a fair amount of well known samples, that is true. but you can probably say that about more than half of the albums listed in thread, if not more. and flipped better is a relative term.
if we're talking specifically about albums imo the question here is not 'did alc use Easin In better than whoever produced Loc'ed after dark'? The question is 'did alchemist use the sample in a way that serves his album well?'. and in that case the answer is yes
and you're not wrong about the rapping but i think somehow it works with the overall nihilistic depressed vibe of the album. he's so short and depressed he doesn't even want to dance or be on his own record
