Mos Def is on Crack

Post by sajr »

Last night I saw Mos Def live for the first time in probably more than 8 years and he sucked ass beyond belief. Maybe I shouldnt have expected more than that, but damn hearing him do out of time Michael Jackson covers was not what I expected at all. Anyone else go to Mos Def's concert in Kentish Town's Forum last night if so what are your thoughts on his performance?

i think his billie jean routine is dope.
he keeps it short.
and moon walks.

c'mon son

if you went expecting black on both sides/blackstar mos then that shit is on you. he's been a really eclectic/erratic dude for awhile now.

Heard it was a very poor show. Can't say I'm surprised.

Bar 'The Universal Magnetic' 12, I can't listen to his music anymore.

I like some of his newer shit. People were all up in arms over his last album, and while it was good, it was nowhere close to as good as people made it out to be.

Plus the guy made an absolute fucking fool of himself on the Bill Maher show. That was brutal to watch. I actually felt bad for him.
