anybody know when the album is dropping?

the last I remember hearing about it, they were almost done the album but Black Mk deleted all Sean P's verse on accident or some shit. A while back they were saying April 2010. this & Black Milk's solo are probably my most anticipated of this year

Guilty is hungry though, he's definitely gonna be nice droppin 1 verse a song rather than holdin down a whole album

if anything I feel like Sean P been slackin lately.

he slacks on guest features and such. you can easily tell when he just phones in a verse for a paycheck

when he's actually excited about a song or a project he can still deliver good shit

like when he was subpar for a year or so and then it turned out he was just saving good lines for the heltah skeltah album

guilty does have some energy and technically he's not the worst rapper, but he just doesn't grab my attention.

About Random Axe, the question is not "when will it drop" but ARE THEY STILL DOING THIS? Random Axe was announced way back before Madlib+Guilty's OJ Simpson. OJ already has one single out and a release date (April), as well as that Madlib mixtape that came out this month. Random Axe has like one track.

i was thinking db because him and Price obviously have very different styles but both work well with Black Milk, so that might create an interesting counterpoint dynamic

marciano doesn't really need to collab with anybody imo

I agree, I'd much rather hear Price n Danny brown together over Black Milk beats but whatevers whatever. I like Guilty as long as he isn't doing full albums, or songs for that matter.

Apparently what had happened was, Black Milk changed the beats up and put Sean's vocals over other beats that he didn't rhyme to and Sean wasn't feeling. So that was the reason for the hold up.

Regardless, this has taken way to long to come out. I'm still amped for it, but it dun been out.

As far as Guilty Simpson, I never even heard of him before hearing about this project. Haven't checked out one song by him and have no interest to. The only shit I heard from him was a few verses on early Random Axe songs, and duke is boring. Definitely wish P did the album with someone else.

Guilty isn't that nice to me. I heard Black Milk accidentally deleted all Sean Price's vocals before(however that happens) and Price had to re record and re write a bunch of shit. Half of me thinks that between that and switiching up the beats on Sean Price they may have been finding ways to level the playing field because Price pretty much steals the show as far as charisma and verses. It's just a theory but it seems probable. Especially hearing the songs. It's like a Major League cat playing wit a High School ball team.

I think this project sounded good in theory but ain't really movin me like that.
